Summary
“Why did you do it?” Minho’s voice almost gets carried away by the wind like a stray leaf, one Jisung would step on and be greeted with the dissatisfying lack of a crunch.
Jisung doesn’t need to ask what “it” is. Why did he leave without saying goodbye, why did he let what happened happen without the consequences, why did he let Minho feel the way he felt, and why did Jisung not allow himself the same luxury?
It's the same answer Jisung has as to why he’s anxious and sad sometimes; he just is. He just did it. But he didn’t. It was more.
“I don’t know,” Jisung says. It’s easier to lie.

“Oh, how did we meet?” Jisung laughs nervously. He scratches his chin, the stubble starting to grow out despite shaving that morning. He looks over at Minho with a shy smile and red cheeks, “Why don’t you tell them, baby?”
Minho swallows around the large formation of words stuck in his throat. He feels the sweat start to prickle on the back of his neck. “Uhm, yeah, honey. Uhm, I can tell them.” Minho looks across the table at their two hosts. Hyunjin, tall, obnoxiously pretty, with flowy black hair and his husband, Changbin, stocky, muscular, with venomous eyes, wait patiently as Minho tries his best to remain calm.
“Well, I guess it all started with a kiss.”
OR; Jisung and Minho go on a bro's trip for Valentine's weekend, but their hosts mistake them for a couple. So they pretend to be in a relationship to not embarrass their hosts.

Summary
What was going on. Jisung’s skin prickled with heat, like he was a hot plate and Minho had just plugged him in. There was that feeling again, like electricity flowing from Minho’s body to his own, energy without an outlet, stirring inside him and sharpening into focus and oh fuck he suddenly understood what it was.
Jisung wriggled out of Minho’s arms. Ignoring his look of surprise, he pushed him flat on his back and climbed into his lap, his legs straddling Minho’s hips.
Minho’s eyes flashed something dark and dangerous. He stared up at Jisung, his lips parted in a perfect heart.
“Can we, um. Can we fuck?” Jisung swallowed. “I think I like. Really want to have sex with you.”
After he and Minho confess their feelings to each other, Jisung experiences sexual attraction for the first time and it is (understandably) a lot to process. We go from there.

Summary
Minho learned how to navigate the silence, how to show up late so he wouldn’t have to see Jisung’s face, how to leave early so he wouldn’t have to hear his laughter from across the room. And still, it didn’t matter. Because no matter how many people tried to hold the cracks together, he had still lost him. Not just his love, but his best friend. And maybe that was the worst part. Because Jisung had been the person Minho thought he would always have. And now, he had nothing.
Because Jisung had been the sun. And Minho -
Minho had been Icarus.

It’s a mindless suggestion from Jisung, but it’s the best they’ve had yet. Plausible, no opportunity for Jisung to faint, and it’s free- for now. Minho’s head tilts, eyebrows furrowing as he mulls over the idea in his mind.
“Yeah.. yeah. I like that. How about 25?”
“Isn’t that kinda young?”

Summary
Jisung was starting to think the fisherman wasn’t actually a fisherman at all. He wasn’t much of one himself, but he might know more than this guy. Granted, he did have a pretty nice looking tackle box and rod, plenty of bait and a cute little fishing hat that laid slightly askew atop his fluffy looking blonde hair. Now that he was looking, or trying to catch a non suspecting glance as he ran by, the guy was cute. Nice side profile, pouty lips, strong brow. He couldn’t make out that many details, but he was pleasantly surprised by what he saw. Too bad he couldn’t catch a fish.
Or: Jisung goes for a run at his local park and sees a fisherman. Except, as he runs by time and time again and the man still hasn’t caught a single thing, he starts to think he might actually have no idea what he's doing.

His eyes narrow, but he smiles. “Touche.” The man steps back and gestures for Minho to come in.

Summary
“Okay,” Jisung finally says, face splitting into a wide smile. One that still feels a bit dusty but he remembers all the same.
“That’s all it took?” Minho laughs, and it's high and sweet. Not sinister at all. Not even a trickster, just a man on a mission. Determination running rampant through him. “I was ready to beg.”
Jisung is almost one hundred percent sure there is no way he will ever be able to transmute what Minho wants him to, but he’ll cross that bridge when he gets there. For now, he will wade in the joy, the feeling of something new approaching him for the first time ever.
“So, where are we going?” Jisung asks, unable to keep the excitement from his voice. “Hell?”
“Worse,” Minho shudders. “Palm Springs.”
(OR: Minho is on a cross-country mission to rescue his brother, and Jisung might be the only magic user who can help him. It’s the road trip of a lifetime.)
