Summary
The Schultz Family have a tradition that has been upheld for the past few generations. For years she goes through the day-to-day actions of standing guard on a Wall where nothing happens, waiting.

You glanced up from your papers and were drawn to his eyes, surprised to find him staring back at you. The tension grew thick with meaning the longer you sat in silence with your gazes locked, until you finally had to break it.
"Is there something you want, Levi?"
There was a smirk in the corner of your mouth, but his expression was painfully sincere. He studied you like a complicated puzzle, an enigma that escaped him but therefore intrigued him even more.
"Yes. But I don't know if I can have it.”
Your heart flipped inside your chest, but you forced yourself to stay calm.
"Why don't you ask for it then and see what happens?"
