There are some great quick-and-dirty guides to HTML on A03. This is not one of them - it is a comprehensive guide
It's now 2025, a decade later. A03 supports some new HTML and and we're all walking around reading fic on supercomputers that fit in a jean pocket. It was time to update.
The previous three chapters have been divided into smaller concepts. Each tag continues to have - at a minimum - a link to the w3schools page about it (so you can learn more), a code example, and the result of the code example. Most tags have their attributes, things like [src] or [title], listed and examples of how using the attributes modify the tags.
There's a chapter on Bad Ideas, including how some of the archive's default CSS is available to you to format your work (users can't turn that off by hiding a workskin!)
Oh. And I added a bunny army. You could learn how to add one too.

"Dear Miss Summers,
Thank you for your application to the Littleroot Young Champions' Initiative. Eager new trainers like yourself are what make the future of Hoenn bright! Regrettably, our supply of starter Pokémon is limited, and so only a handful of applicants can be selected for this program. Your scores do not qualify you to receive one of the three…"
A dull ringing rose in her ears. She scanned and re-scanned the last sentence, as though staring at it would make it change, but it still said the same thing: "Your scores do not qualify you to receive one of the three starter Pokémon."
Well, there it was, the answer spelled out in black and white. She wasn't good enough, and that was that.
---
Hayley Summers is determined to become a champion. She didn't count on getting a rebellious fire hazard as a starter Pokémon, the class weirdo as a training partner, or a pair of ecoterrorists as her personal adversaries, but—what doesn't kill you makes you stronger, right? And in the world of training, that's starting to look very literal.

Not every notable trainer in the Champion Cup was an instant standout. Skyla Starr wanted nothing more than to fade into the background and simply enjoy this brief journey with all her new friends. Lancel was more than willing to wait until the Champion Cup met it's end for the spotlight to shine on her. Zoe Arkon spent most her life lurking in shadows, and intended to keep it that way. Victoria just wanted to go home, and saw the Champion's title as her best bet.
The Darkest Day is coming, and they will not escape unchanged.
But for now, they're just new friends sharing a journey of a lifetime...

"Are you another teacher here?"
"Uh, yeah! I teach science for 6th and 8th grade. What about you?"
"Amaze, amaze. I teach in technology wing. Robotics."
"You new?"
"Yes. Just traveled here few days ago. Applied for job. Got job."
"Cool."
A strange new teacher is hired at Grover Cleveland Middle, and so far, Mr. Grace has heard more gossip than he's heard during his entire 7 years of teaching. He's friendly, but awkward and offputting to the point where people are starting to think he's not human.
An alternate universe where most of the cast are members of the school staff, and Rocky is the weird new teacher who most definitely isn't pretending to be a human to hide from the government officials at NASA trying to study him.

A fun and cute little grace/rocky fic! I love how Rocky is characterised + presented — feels very accurate to the source material (admittedly only watched the movie and about halfway through the book) while still making him humanoid. Last updated 2026-07-18, excited to see it finished!

"We'll put an ad up in the paper or something, or on Craigslist. Can't be that hard to find a roomie without a bee allergy." They could've gotten another cramped apartment for around the same price, but Vaughn had seen the ad for their new house and couldn't believe the asking price.
The great deal on the place? Well the guy next door was a huge dick to everyone when he was home, and his presence drove the property value around him down. But he paid everything on time and in full, so nothing could be done about it. The neighbors couldn't even call the local authorities because nothing this Mr. Lawrence did could be even considered disrupting the peace, he was just incredibly unpleasant.

Summary
Mimosa, a self-proclaimed "aspiring pop sensation", applies for Project Armstrong: an experimental cybernetic surgery to help fix her spine and get herself in perfect condition to pursue her dreams of being a star. When her old, crappy music player gets lodged in her chest during surgery, however, she's labeled a "defect" and hunted down to be "recalled". Moving and fighting to the beat of her music, she teams up with a crew of disgruntled, bitter ex-employees to take down the Heads of Vandelay Technologies and stop their devious plans!
A retelling of the main story of Hi Fi Rush, but with the protagonists and antagonists swapping roles!

I remember reading this a while back! Enjoyable and with some nice music choices from what I remember. Last updated June of last year (at time of making bookmark). I hope that it's still ongoing — author hasn't said anything about it being abandoned so I assume so.

Bookmarker's Notes
An absolute classic Pokémon fanfic in my eyes. Very unique and fun; Artoria is one of my favourite Pokémon I've encountered in a journeyfic. I've admittedly not finished it yet — I'm only on the 'Salad' section. At time of writing, last updated May 15th 2026, so I assume it's still on-going.
