Summary
The Mandalorian is adrift after the taking of Moff Gideon's cruiser and the departure of his son. Boba Fett just wants to keep him talking-- keep him from sinking into his grief.
He's not expecting the Mandalorian to open up to him, trusting him with a story that is about language and clones and misunderstandings-- but more than anything, this story is about himself and his family.

Summary
The year is 1883; the town is Oxford.
Boba Fett is a retired mercenary living in his grandfather's house, recovering from an adventurous and near-fatal decade in the Americas, surrounded by the secret society of the Followers of Mandalore and his many extraordinary siblings. He does not think that anything can surprise him anymore.
There is a road-weary traveler approaching, a man with questions and a small green conundrum in tow, and he is about to upend all of Boba's expectations.
