"Okay." Shigeo smiles, a nice upturned, pink smile, with his dimples showing just barely. He lazily gazes off to the side in remembrance, looking as if he's about to laugh at some funny memory. "So, you know Takane and I, right?"

Teruki wants to say something smart and smooth, like, No, I’m completely fine, so no need to worry about me! In fact, how are you feeling? Need me to help? What actually comes out of his mouth is: “A little—a lot bit, actually. It’s cold.” He grits his teeth and now has the sense to put his hands back in his jacket, though they’re still freezing.
“Ritsu says I’m quite warm-blooded. Maybe I could help,” Shigeo suggests with doe eyes, completely unaware of the implications his offer has. Specifically, what he’s doing to Teruki’s heart. “Give me your hand?” He stops walking for a second and stretches out his palm. It looks awfully inviting. Teruki tries his best not to stare.

Shigeo holds Teruki's hand in order to "warm him up". Surely, Teruki feels absolutely normal about this (not).

Pencil isn’t a stranger to saying it either, since she’s had enough boyfriends (and her fair share of girlfriends, too) to know when to slip in the words “I love you,” into the conversation. Pencil’s said it multiple times to Needle, and it came off easily—hell, it rolled off the tongue. Yet, this time, it’s so hard for her voice to comply with her brain’s orders, because instead of actually speaking like it had done for Pencil’s entire life, her tongue stands numb and heavy in her mouth, unwilling to let any noise other than a grating choking sound out.

It’s a day after BFDIA 14, and Needle is exhausted.
She had to complete a duo’s challenge basically solo yesterday, since her teammate—Pencil—was incapacitated. Pencil did wake up eventually, though, when she’d been revived with the anti-poison at Dora’s island. Then, they were fortunately able to continue the rest of the challenge and actually win; yet, all of that competition leaves a girl pretty tired. And hungry, too.
To rest, Needle flops down on the forest ground, laying her back against a tree. It’s cool against her body, tree bark on her steel skin feeling almost therapeutic with how nice it felt. It’s a needed contrast from the hustle and bustle of BFDIA. Needle decides to enjoy the moment. She closes her eyes, relaxing at once.
The moment doesn’t last very long, because Pencil appears out of seemingly nowhere, her voice booming into Needle’s eardrums. “Hey, Needy! Let’s go for a ride!”
