it was during a supply run in changwon, dragged onto the shining diamond by mingyu, who the crew had interrogated to make sure that he didn't unintentionally kidnap wonwoo. in the midst of mingyu whining, "he's a good person, and he agreed! i didn't force him!" is when seungcheol first makes eye contact with him.
wonwoo's beautiful, even just standing in a simple white tunic and breeches. seungcheol's eyes are captivated and when wonwoo shifts to meet his eyes, seungcheol can't find it in himself to tear away.
wonwoo's eyes bore into his from behind his thin wire frames and for a second, seungcheol thinks he sees the other's pupils dilate into a black, haunting, never-ending pit—
seungcheol blinks and wonwoo's eyes are still staring at him, but with a normal brown. seungcheol blinks again and wonwoo blinks back, face impassive and body language open as he waits for mingyu to finish being teased. seungcheol takes it as his cue to step in.
or, how wonwoo is smitten with ship captain choi seungcheol, who is (unfortunately) human (and wonwoo isn't?)

Hm. Jiseok considers this. Two more tutoring sessions. On one hand, the fallout would be annoying—two missed band practices and two nights of dragging Jooyeon back on campus instead of lazing around and ordering takeout. On the other hand, it’s two more nights with his charming, witty, borderline-freakishly gorgeous tutor who actually wants to see him again.
This isn’t so bad after all.

Watching Kim Mingyu swim all summer was one thing. Seungkwan didn’t need him to follow him home, too.

Mingyu wasn't just trapped in a cabin with a stranger. He was trapped in a cabin with a devastatingly attractive stranger with a cute laugh and soft voice and gentle hands, a stranger that had saved Mingyu's life and was asking nothing in return, and Mingyu realized, in that moment, that his heart was going to put him in terrible, terrible trouble for this.
Jeonghan had advised that Mingyu do what he could to get off the grid a little, in an attempt to dodge a groundless dating scandal. Mingyu hadn't meant to crash a skimobile into a tree, cause an avalanche, and get himself and his rescuer trapped out in the woods, but it could be worse: his savior seemed kind, he was safe, and the snow was beautiful. And besides, Jeonghan couldn't get too mad at him; Mingyu couldn't exactly be more off the grid than this.
