Looking back, you can see he was still focused on the screen. When you glanced down at your wrist, the timer had paused on 3 seconds and then started reversing. Eventually, it settled on a new time.

Fortunately for you, it’s impossible for him to find you in the sea of students attending your school -if you’re sneaky enough. Unfortunately for you, he definitely had known today was the day so it’s kind of obvious you intentionally avoided him.
