Summary
“Maggie! I’m going to Brighton!”, an angel with a tartan hat and a camera around his neck announced from the record shop’s entrance. It was open; it was a rather warm 33rd day after the Apocalypse That Wasn’t. Before Maggie could fully blink her eyes awake and maybe respond, the same angel chirped amorously, “With Crowley!” and vanished.
--
A month after the Apocalypse that wasn't, Aziraphale can't yet let go of Heaven. Crowley takes him to Brighton. Or: Aziraphale finally understands what it means to be an angel in a mostly human body.
(Alternative to Season 2, but with a lot of the same themes!)

Summary
"I know what a breakup looks like," Daniel says. "The better question is, why are you coming to me about it? I'm the one who broke up your little sham."
"This is what humans do, don't they?" Armand asks, letting his voice drop. "Crashing on their friends' couches when there's a blip in their romances?"
"Except we're not friends. We're actually very much not friends." Daniel shrugs, as if it's all the same to him. "And I can't imagine the great vampire Armand deigning himself to sleep on my fucked-up sofa. That thing's been here since the nineties."
"Well," Armand only says. "I saw you have a guest bedroom."

Summary
The first couple of dollars that the machine ate up without remorse were an annoyance, something that made Dennis sigh and unzip his wallet without thinking about it to try again. By the time that the vending machine had eaten seven whole dollars, in coins, and Dennis didn’t have anything to show for it, he was close to thumping his forehead against the cool glass and hoping he could derive some sort of enjoyment or nourishment from simply just looking at the colourful packages as they remained firmly in their coils.
~
5 times + 1 that Robby buys something for Dennis and makes him feel like he's about to keel over, right there and then.

Summary
"You all right?" she asks, not really listening to whatever grunt he makes in acknowledgement. His stubble has got tidied up, his neck shaved so that it all looks like a halfway respectable beard. He's wearing a grey suit with a darker grey button-up she's never seen before, but it doesn't look fresh, exactly. It almost seems like—
"No," she says, suspicion growing along with her grin as she watches him blush. It's a comprehensive one: starts at his neck — more visible now — and goes clear up to his hairline. His very messy hairline, even messier than usual. "Really?"
