Summary
Aizawa tosses the plate at the floor sending it skittering across the room.
“Sorry,” Kirishima gasps. “I’m sorry.”
Bakugou stares at the plate then at the mess on his lap. Aizawa looks resigned about something.
“That’s what I thought. No meat.”
Kirishima lets out a half sob, choking on it as it struggles up his throat. Bakugou blinks.
“No meat?” he sounds devastated, and wants to hit himself for it. But Kirishima loves meat, doesn’t he? He eats it like it’s going out of style. He swoons over the pans when Bakugou cooks it. He has Fatgum recommend the best places to eat, and has ratings for every cut of meat he possibly could get his hands on.
The rest of the class goes silent too, watching Kirishima with wide eyes. He won’t look at them, head bowed over Bakugou’s arm.
or, Kirishima accidentally kills a villain. It all spirals from there.

Summary
There are confusing times where she smiles at him. He loves her smile. Where she laughs with him. He loves her laugh. And touches him in the most sweet, most fragile way possible. He halfheartedly pretends that he understands them.
The moments are the reason he sails on but he can't help but hate them. He can't help but be angry at her.
But he keeps quiet and obedient during those times. Pliant to her wishes and mood.
When she'd crawl into his bed singing songs specially for him, with tears pearling up on her lashes as she'd stare and caress his face.
Even as she's burying her nose in his neck, and he's watching her every movement, waiting. He's as overwhelmingly ridgid as he can be without getting noticed.
Everytime he wishes that it sticks forever,
but it never does.
But he's steadfast on his feet, ready for the moment where something twists even a bit wrong and it all washes down the drain in one big flood, and he changes, and adjusts.
If there's one good thing that he learns from Mitsuki's mood swings, it's adapting.*
