"Oh! My apologies, we don't have very many doctorates around here!" Edd laughs nervously. He digs his nails into the palm of his hand and looks around the room. It's a new add-on, Peach Creek seems to have finally taken a singular step towards the betterment of mental health, a small cream-colored room near the nurse's office.
"Well, I'm a psychiatrist."
"Of course! I should have assumed, seeing as how you're here, I'm sure Peach Creek High would have instated the best and finest, certainly not some counselor who hasn't taken the required courses of study," Edd babbles. He's talking too much. The man hasn't even asked a question yet. -

He steps into the apartment with his head turned to the floor, tsk-ing like an upset housewife.
"You didn't wipe your feet," He starts, placing his bag on the hook by the door, making sure it's hanging completely straight before turning and looking accusingly at the floor once more. "You haven't even-" He looks up. "You haven't even removed your shoes! Eddy! What kind of begrimed, unkempt house are you trying to present?"
Eddy, from his place on the couch, barely looks up from his magazine.
"Missed you too," He says teasingly.
"Eddy, this is a matter of utmost importance! We have guests coming over tonight, you know what sort of impact any kind of mess could cause in a presently strained relationship!"
Edd's parents visit for the holidays and aren't exactly as merry as the spirit of the day should indicate. Especially about certain things in Edd's new life- namely Eddy, and his and Edd's relationship.

Really, that should have been a red flag. That he was putting the needs of Moomin equal to his. As if they were somehow stuck together and he had to consider Moomin's wants on the same level as his own.
They were not stuck together.

Helga's going through a divorce, and through some miraculous turn of fate, she meets her one true love once again, her Football Head.
After Arnold leaves for San Lorenzo on some do-goody quest with his newfound parents, Helga G Pataki waits around for a couple hundred years for him to come back. She's scared to send him letters though. What if he misreads and thinks she actually LIKES him?
Nope. Can't let that happen.
Some things happen, however, that Helga would rather leave in the past. Now she has a child she has to raise.
And then Arnold comes back. Suddenly. Out of nowhere. Arnold starts asking about the past.
Things she wants to be forgotten.
He's friends with her kid.
He's friends with everyone.

he flinched, turned around, (annoyed) to stare at the girl with the blonde pigtails.

he simply rolled his eyes at her, turning back around in his seat.
another spitball flew past Gerald.
she always hit him directly.
they were timed, too, every 8 minutes or so. sometimes Arnold would flinch even before she hit him.
it was a routine they had gone through for the past 6 years, ever since first grade when Helga figured out how to make spitballs.
Gerald was sick and tired of it.
another spitball. whack.
"quit it!" "what?!"
another one. whack.
whack.
then Gerald got a brilliant idea. he counted the seconds, then held his book up at the exact moment Helga launched the spitball.
it hit the book. -

edd/eddy cuz they are the sweetest and the craziest
if u don't like it, no one is forcing u to read it.edd cries all the time. he cries every time his parents don't make it home in time for dinner, don't make it home in time for bed. he cries when ed goes away to art camp. he cries when kevin and the other kids tease and torment the eds. it didn't take long for the other kids to go back to their old ways after that whole escapade with eddy's brother.
but eddy, well, edd has never seen eddy cry. except for about 3 times. eddy's too cool for that sort of thing. but eddy also has emotions, emotions he's afraid to show. emotions he kept hidden from edd for the longest time. and now that edd has started dating.. well... HER, eddy's slipping deeper and deeper into depression.
lee's been tormenting him more often and he can't take it anymore.but what happens when ed accidentally pushes eddy over the edge? can edd return for his friend before time runs out for eddy?
