Buck looks torn, his hand lifting like he’s going to touch Eddie’s arm. He waits, his hand hovering a few inches away from it, flickering his gaze between where the point of contact would be and Eddie’s face.
“Yeah, go ahead, Buck,” Eddie says, curiosity spiked.
Buck wraps his long fingers around Eddie’s wrist and tugs the hand away from his face—gently, deliberately—which Eddie is pretty sure Buck has never done. Buck loves his face being cradled by Eddie’s hands. Surprise flickers in Eddie’s eyes, but he doesn’t say anything, just waits patiently.
Buck guides the hand down until Eddie’s palm is pressed against the front of his neck.
It’s Eddie’s turn to be wide-eyed. His mouth parts as his fingers twitch where they rest. His fingers curl loosely around Buck’s neck, no pressure added, just his fingers featherlight against the right side of Buck’s neck and his thumb brushing along the left. Eddie’s hand fits around the front of it so easily.
