Summary
In one universe, Adam is sent through a portal to Oklahoma, where people think he's crazy and not worth much of a second glance. When he returns home, he has no plans of returning to Earth--where he had been alone and ostracized by his peers.
In this universe, a butterfly flaps it's wings: Adam finds himself in a Kansas town called Smallville, sword still lost. But the people who find him, the Kent Family, aren't dismissive of his claims of nobility from a different planet at all. In fact, their son, Clark, is a lot more closer to him than he thinks.
He still wants to return home to Eternia someday, sure. But he can't help but feel at home on Earth, too.

“Sometimes.” His voice nears, fixed next to your ear, hushed. “I struggle to keep my own nature at bay.”

The puzzle pieces click together. He probably phased through the wall, as she typically does, searching for you. They clearly don’t understand the social conventions surrounding showering when it comes to intimacy and privacy.
"Daemon, you can't just walk into the shower while I'm... showering. It's an invasion of privacy."
He tilts her head further, like a confused puppy.
"It's embarrassing," You continue to chide.
"Define 'embarrassing.'"
| AKA, Daemon doesn’t understand human social cues because he was never taught. This leads to some funny scenarios. Crack treated seriously & fluff. I might make a second chapter if others find this as funny as I do. Enjoy! |
