Summary
Wille let out his breath all in one go, a lazy smile on his face, and Simon knew he’d won. He really did know how to get his own way when he wanted something badly enough. Wille was strong-minded, and Simon admired him so much for how deliberately he loved and how firmly he stood up for what he believed in, but Simon also knew that he himself was Wille’s weakness, and he would give up the fucking crown for him if he thought it would make Simon happy.
“Okay.” Wille shook his head, like he couldn’t quite believe he’d actually agreed to it, and reached out to lace his fingers with Simon’s. “You win. We’ll get the fourteen-hour night train to Rome.”Or: Simon convinces Wille to take an overnight train to Italy instead of being flown in the private jet. See also: Simon loves travelling by train, Wille has a lot to learn, and Simon definitely makes it all worth his while.

Wilhelm gnawed on his lip, and Felice glanced at him with a slightly concerned expression, watching as he wrote a note so harshly he tore his paper. Fuck. He turned the page, smoothed it with a shaky hand, and began writing again.
“Oi.”
Don’t reply.
“Princey.”
Oh my God, he’s infuriating.
“Wille Billy.”
He’s worse than August.
“Don’t make me call you sweetheart.”
Wilhelm swung around in his chair, glaring at Simon, who’s lunging over his desk to whisper at Wilhelm. “What do you want Simon?” He already regrets turning around, because the satisfied smirk on Simon’s face makes him want to shove him off his chair.
“Your t-shirts inside out,” Simon whispered with a grin, eyes sliding to the collar of Wilhelm's shirt, and back to his eyes in a smooth motion. “Sweetheart.”

Where Wilhelm was subdued and methodical, Simon was energy and chaos and instinct. Where Wilhelm was carefully trained and polished to perfection, Simon was raw, unadulterated talent.

Wilhelm raises his head, takes in bitten-down fingernails, a slightly crumpled barista apron, rolled up sleeves. And then he’s staring like an idiot because the boy in front of him is startlingly pretty – slender and graceful in a way that makes Wilhelm feel like even more of a clumsy oaf. All smooth, honey brown skin and dark mussed curls, and a lazy, impish smile that is doing funny things to Wilhelm’s pulse.

Not only had Simon left him, he has been betrayed by his own family and now, he is supposed to fill the shoes of his late brother Erik as the Crown Prince of Sweden. He didn't want any of this. He has never asked to be born into the Royal Family. It was the root of all of his problems. If only he could live a normal teenager's life, be who he wanted to be, love who he wanted to love, not be the public amusement of a whole nation. Then, maybe, everything would be alright...
Or so he hoped. Because his wish would become true: After the night of New Year's Eve, Wilhelm mysteriously woke up in a parallel world. A world where he was... well, normal. Where everything seemed perfect.
The only catch? Simon wasn't normal.
