Slices of pickle appeared in front of him, and he looked up to find Bakugou’s chopsticks transferring them from their dish to his plate.
It made no sense—the dish was as far from him as it was for Bakugou, and Bakugou would’ve never helped Kirishima or Mina like this. Or Camie and Inasa, for that matter.
Momo had stopped eating and was looking at Todoroki. Good, it meant he wasn’t going insane—yet. Jirou, despite sitting in front of them too, was unfazed, though she looked strangely smug. Beside her was Kaminari, blissfully unaware.
“Maybe,” Bakugou continued, as if everything was perfectly fine, “if you bothered to ask someone who can actually cook, they could actually show you how to make some damn instant noodles.”
Oh. Yes. He’d thought of asking Bakugou before, but had never thought of the right opportunity to do so. “That would be nice,” Todoroki said slowly, even as he felt heat flush his cheeks, though he didn’t know why.

"Oi. Don't waste your time," Bakugou manages weakly, composure fractured and frayed beyond repair. "It won't work."
"I disagree," Todoroki says, determination etched into his expression.
He's not talking about the quirk anymore. This runs deeper, bruises harder.
"And." Todoroki inches closer, irritatingly persistent. Intent to pin this moment down, stretch it out despite the rising tension. "I think you're with me on this."
Apparently, fate still has plans for them.

The room instantly silenced, and Shouto sinkingly realized that he was now the sole focus of the room’s attention. Kaminari nervously giggled. Beside him, Kirishima stared, mouth open. Ashido’s wide eyes flickered excitedly between Shouto, Midoriya, and strangely, Bakugou. And Bakugou? Bakugou looked as if someone had slapped him. He blinked suddenly, pale brows drawing together in a deep furrow.
“Wh-wh-what?!” Midoriya stuttered, and because Shouto was still looking in Bakugou’s direction, he saw when Bakugou’s hand clenched, snapping the pencil he’d been holding in two.
“Whaaa!” Hakagure said. “Todoroki likes Midoriya?!” She sounded equal parts scandalized and delighted.
Shouto’s spine snapped straight, because of course he’d messed this up. Turning swiftly to Midoriya, Shouto hurried to correct the confusion. “Sorry. I wasn’t clear. I would like you to come to dinner as my pretend date."
Or, the one where Shouto fake dates each of his classmates and Bakugou gets progressively more jealous.

The spitfire prince stares, before something familiar softens his features slightly, it’s the same look Denki gets when he spots something in the distance, a certain kind of curiosity. Shouto tilts his head, why would the prince be looking at him like that.
In which Bakugou is a prince and Shouto is the stablehand at the dragon stable, and they're in love, your honor.

The night he escapes from the castle, crown prince Todoroki Shouto finds himself cursed by the magician in his father's employ. Undeterred, Todoroki strikes up a deal of his own: kill the most powerful witch in the kingdom to have the curse broken.
There's just one small problem: he's somehow ended up as the familiar of the witch in question—Bakugou Katsuki.

It’s nice to be able to take care of someone who knows him, and maybe likes him. Someone whose trust is hard to win, and it’s given to Shouto of all people. He knows there’s nothing about him that would suggest that he could be good at this, or even knows how to do it.
They’re not dating, but if he could be with somebody like that...Shouto would want something just like this.
Bakugou said once that they weren't friends, so Shouto refuses to wrongfully assume, once again, that they've become more than that

"What's the verdict?" Todoroki asks when a sleazy salaryman leaves the shop, head cocked to the side.
The roses had plenty to say, none of it remotely appropriate.
"You don't wanna know," Bakugou admits, securing the next bouquet with string.
Todoroki lowers his voice, leaning forwards.
"Personally, I think the marriage is doomed."
And everything about this is terrible. From the conspiratorial delivery to the strange blink-and-you-miss-it wink to the sheer anarchy that descends upon the shop, it is chaos incarnate. Bakugou barely succeeds in holding back an unflattering indignant snort, biting down a traitorous grin.
Of course, that's when disaster hits.
If Bakugou is doing this, he wants it to be on his terms. He'll love whoever the fuck he wants, soul magic be damned.
