Regulus was frozen in place. He looked through the gaps in the door, but he didn't quite see what was in front of him. His brain refused to make the scene playing out in front of him make sense.
It wasn't happening. This could not be true. However, cruel as only life is, it was real. It was happening.
Lily Potter was dead.
And, deep on his heart, he knew James' lifeless form would be resting on the bottom of the stairs.
Fate was as cruel as life was, and apparently took great joy in making his life miserable. On the day of their marriage anniversary, even.
But looking down, he knew he had a reason to keep going.
No, scratch that, he had two reasons to keep going - even if he wasn't as strong and brave as his partners were.
His children needed him.

Izuku had a few girlfriends before. He always gave 100% of himself to this relationships, that was just how he was. The problem is that all of his past relationships actually ended because his girlfriends thought he was “too good”.

He’s not sure, and now once again he’s being dumped, by the girl he was planning to ask to marry him.
She wasn’t even nice about breaking things up! She waited for him to come back from a mission, when he was too tired to try and talk about it - to try to save his relationship with Haru - just for her to shove a bag into his hands and tell him that it’s all over.That’s how Izuku ends up on Katuski’s balcony, and Katsuki won’t let his chance slide, not this time. He is done watching Deku giving all of himself to people who do not deserve the nerd, damnit!

They still don't, by the way. It's just that now they are older and know better. They made a promise, after all. To be always together and protect each other.
That promise, made in the quiet of Mayumi's hospital room, had consequences that no one could see coming. But the trio could never regret making it, just how they could never be apart and happy at the same time.
Happiness, for them, was only possible by being at each other's side.

The prestigious UA High, the school he dreamed of going to... before his Dad was taken from him two years ago.
It’s two weeks into the new semester, and he's moving into a dorm room.
At least his roommate appears to be nice enough, even though he has a foul mouth and a seemingly permanent scowl on his face.
