Summary
His outstretched glove hangs there, frozen, as the noise of the arena mutates into a ringing buzz. Then he’s moving, pushed away by Marlow, and then Boston’s goalie. There’s a flurry of movement, a trainer with a towel, more blood dripping onto the ice, and he just. Stands there. Staring.
Ilya is helped off the ice. Shane doesn’t even tap his stick.
Remember when Sidney Crosby caught a puck with his jaw? That doesn't happen to Shane. That happens to Ilya.

Summary
Ilya is watching the sun rise over the lake at the cottage when Shane joins him and makes a little request.
“So, I was wondering…next time we fuck…would you like to, uh, skip the condom? Because I’ve been thinking about feeling you skin-to-skin inside me for a while now, and it’s been driving me—”
Shane did not get a chance to complete his sentence because Ilya had hauled him over and was giving him a kiss, fierce and biting and ravenous.
After many glorious moments of kissing, the sun warm on their cheeks, Ilya pulled back. Shane licked his lips and gave Ilya a darting glance before looking away. “Anyway, yeah, it’s been driving me insane,” he said, and cleared his throat.
“Well now that you said it, it makes me insane too,” Ilya replied. “Come.” He stood and hauled Shane up along with him. “Chop chop, Hollander. No time to waste.”- Language:

Shane knows it’s silly to be annoyed by Ilya sleeping with “model-handsome men.” For god’s sake, Ilya has been in a committed relationship with Shane now for 5 and a half years and they’ve been married for 18 months. It’s stupid.
(Or: Shane and Ilya attend their first All-Star Game together as a married couple and Shane learns some things from Cliff Marlow. Shane doesn’t expect to get so possessive.)

“Roz! You saw Hollander out there?” Hayes asked. Stupid question. Ilya thought. Of course he saw Shane out there, it was hard to miss. Especially with the number 81 and his last name on his back. Shane didn’t tell Ilya he was doing this, he wondered if that was the point.
“Yes.” Ilya responded. He tried to keep his response as short as possible, not wanting to accidentally say anything he shouldn’t.
“He lost a bet?” Bood asked.

“Should I mark you here?” Ilya teases anyway, placing another open-mouth kiss to the thin skin of Hollander’s neck. “Let them all see how much fun you had tonight with your Lily?"
He expects Hollander to shove him off at the mere suggestion, or at least tell him to fuck off. Instead, Hollander lets out a low, throaty whine as he thrusts against Ilya’s thigh— the hard, hot line of his cock pressing into him like a brand.
Or: Shane's teammates think he's out spending the night with a mystery woman. He and Ilya take the opportunity to indulge in something they never have before.

Summary
He imagines being able to love, hug and kiss First freely. Intertwine his fingers with his, smile at him and kiss his cheek. He does most of those already, but it’s either as a best friend or when they’re acting — and when Akk tells him that he loves him, when Sand looks at him like a lover and leans in to kiss him, he lets himself indulge in the illusion that First loves him back, because he will take anything that First is willing to give.
Khaotung develops a bad habit. It happens at night, when First is lying next to him.

Enjoyed these two in The Eclipse so filling in the gaps myself. Told from Khao's POV and he's whipped. No idea where this'll go but so long as they keep crying when they talk about how much they love each other, I'm sure I'll feel inspired! Based on real events, people and timelines, with a little artistic license here and there.
