“…Are you crying?” he asks, frowning.
Jisung blinks at him, glassy-eyed and a tiny bit miserable. He doesn’t even pretend to deny it this time. He lifts his head with the devastated honesty only the heartbroken and intoxicated can manage.
“Yes,” he admits simply. “I’m crying. Because I’m drunk.”
"Oh." Minho blinks, then lets out a startled laugh. “Oh, no.”
or: Jisung is drunk and can't stop talking about Minho's voice– until he starts talking about love.

Minho takes his sweet time re-adjusting Jisung’s hand under the lights of the subway tunnel. “I’d avoid walking under any hanging flower pots today. Your gravity line isn’t looking too hot.”
“Isn’t it a little late for that? There’s literally thousands of pounds of concrete above us right now.”
“Don’t be ridiculous.” Minho disregards the squint being sent his way in favor of flattening Jisung’s palm against his own. Lets himself be a hint reckless in the disorder of the commuter crowd, threading their fingers together in what he hopes is a casual way. “It cancels out because I’m here.”
Jisung smiles faintly at the intersection of their bodies, hunches a bit. “If you say so."

Jisung presses closer, slings an arm around Jeongin’s shoulders. He puts on a voice, the one they all do when they talk to him: sweet, and gentle, like he’s still young. “Don’t you love me, maknae-yah –” kissing Jeongin’s cheek, his chin, the corners of his eyes. “Don’t you love me, Ayen-ah?”
Well. That’s kind of the problem. Jisung’s lips land a little too close to his and he pulls back like he’s been burned.
“Changbin-hyung,” he says, “does – does he look good on his knees?”
Jeongin is an adult who is perfectly capable of having sex. His hyungs, much to his chagrin, would beg to differ.

His hands touch his face. The most obvious bit is the beard, but it’s also the exact slope of the nose and the cut of the cheekbones and when he finally gets his eyes open, he looks at blue gloves.
“Oh fuck yes,” Wade says. With Logan’s mouth. The voice rumbles through his ribcage, higher pitched by a bit through Logan’s ears but he just knows it's deep and scratchy and so sexy.

alright i had this whole lovingly crafted paragraph displaying the ways in which this fic gutted me like a fish and then carefully rearranged my guts in an ornate pattern that i looked down at and found poetic, but i accidentally deleted it. it's just how these things go sometimes. this fic is very beautiful and also very sad. as i saw someone else say, this fic sort of puts you both at ease and at unease. i think this fic is a perfect example of how fanfiction is a specific art form separate from writing books. this work of art would not be possible as a book and it is immaculate as a fic. both heartbreaking and heartwarming. some basic knowledge on f1 recommended to read - as mentioned previously, this fic is an outstanding example of fanfiction as its own literary art form. but honestly i think you could also just infer based on context? idk my point is you should read this and cry and be confused about why you're crying like i did and was. i think this is the ultimate amnesia fic. ultimate in a good way. i literally don't think anything will top this. im going to be thinking about this for the next good while. the persevering nature of unbreakable love and all that jazz. yeah im gonna be thinking about this

Summary

The last thing Steve expects when he finally tracks Bucky down is that, not only has the man been living in Queens all this time, right under his nose, but also that, in the two years since they last saw each other, Bucky somehow acquired a kid.
