Frank’s expression was priceless to Gerard: eyes already glassy with desperation, lips slightly parted, and eyebrows drawn together.
“Gerard,” he breathed.
“I take it you like my outfit,” Gerard mused, not a question.
Frank’s eyes drop to rake over Gerard’s body at the mention of the dress, and Gerard can’t stop himself from preening under his gaze. He sways a little on his feet, making the skirt of the dress twist with his movement. Frank’s hands slide down to lay flat on his chest and he meets Gerard’s eyes to say, “You’re beautiful.”
