Change was something that Ralph had found himself acquainted with for quite some time now.

After the island, the boys had been shipped off to different schools in a fleeting attempt to return to normalcy. Five years later, after the closing of many schools in the area, Jack and Ralph end up at the same one. A sequence of deaths follows the two, but they're convinced that it's not just coincidence. Something's wrong and unfortunately for them, working together might be the only option to bring the answer to light.
(Or Jack and Ralph being emotionally constipated, awkward idiots too stupid to realize they're crushing hard on each other while playing detective.)

The hunters finally have Ralph cornered. As the chief, Jack decides Ralph deserves a second chance, but not without punishment of course. Leaving Ralph to mourn his only friend piggy and his right leg. So as time passes Ralph still tries to get rescued, but how much time does he have before the savageness takes over the boys and maybe himself.

i feel like a lot of people have wondered how different atla as a whole would be if aang had been older, so in this au, aang was frozen at age 16! naturally, i just had to flip aang being after katara from day one to katara now having a crush on aang from the very beginning.
essentially, to recap. ATLA aang aged up AU fic. kataang. where she falls first, and he falls harder.
also, cmon. i just had to write a new version of the scene where zuko and aang meet- "you? you’re just a teenager!" "s-…so are you…?"
