He looked at her even more carefully now.
They had never officially met, never talked or anything, and yet she didn't seem to be scared or at least uneasy. She hadn’t even asked for his name, or tried to have some sort of polite conversation like one does amongst strangers. In short, she hadn’t had a normal reaction. No. She had simply smiled at him, offering him some sweets.Some sweets. Uhm.
Then she did study people too, he hadn’t been wrong, but he was under the impression that their studies were moving on two very different levels.

What if Rae, a very “intuitive” girl with a complicated and painful past, had met L during the Kira case? Maybe there would have been a very different ending.
[This is a Death Note retelling, where L gets some unexpected extra help and OC has to learn to cope with her past trauma. Summary
A bit short, but I wanted to write some simple smut that mainly consisted of only one or two actions instead of trying to fit in most or every aspect of sex. I also kind of needed to reset my brain after my last fic being the COMPLETE opposite of this one... (Gulp)
Also !! If the Valentines Day/Winter setting seems random, I don't know, I've had the first part of this fic (the non sex part) in my drafts for at least two months and that's what I put it to be, so yeah. I'm very aware that the holiday is not any time soon. The summer heat is making me crave winter, perhaps.
