She froze, raising her eyes to make contact with his. This man’s hair was short, wire glasses framed his eyes, and instead of an ancient costume, he wore jeans and a soft-looking, cream jacket.

Needed to read more after watching episode 5 of the anime, and was pleasantly surprised to find this. This is the first time I felt I could actually picture the scenario playing out in my head, and that goes to show how they were written true to their characters. Nice read!
