Despite his usual roamings around the Pier, he was fairly certain he’d never seen this particular beggar around before. Especially not one wearing robes like these: tattered just like those of any regular beggar, but an odd, striking shade of green. It reminded Jiang Cheng of tarnished jade.
The beggar crossed their arm (singular), and lifted their chin. ‘Why, I’m the former Wind Master and I’m here to fix my temple.’
Jiang Cheng blinked. What the fuck?
