Kaveh had always been insecure about his hands, marred with scars and blemishes. He liked admiring Alhaitham's hands. They were soft and pretty and dainty, and so unlike his own that Kaveh couldn't help but be jealous. Unbeknownst to him though, Alhaitham, smart as ever, was very aware of his constant staring.
"Alhaitham was so very unaware at how elegant his hands looked in Kaveh’s eyes, how they drifted from one side to another like a swan dancing over a moonlit lake, or how his skin was similar to a marbled statue, clean from any sort of scarring clearly never having to do any work that could possibly harm them.
