Summary
“What could you possibly help me with anyways?” George switches the conversation in a desperate attempt to stop his cheeks from turning even redder.“Kissing.” Dream says, abruptly.
The students in the cafeteria still move around them the same, still carry on their conversations and laugh and yell at each other, and yet for a moment, George swears everything stops. For a few seconds, it’s as if everything has faded away into a blurry background and nothing else is important, and it’s just George and Dream staring at each other. Red blush snakes its way up George’s neck and his cheeks turn impossibly crimson.
George is pretty sure he’s going to explode.
He wonders at that moment if Sapnap had truly been right; that everyone knew that George has a crush on Dream, even Dream himself.
Dream asks George for help in chemistry, and in return, he promises to teach George how to kiss. It doesn’t go how either of them expects.

Summary
Dream didn’t worry about any of these things when he met Sapnap, but he supposes that hardly even requires examination, because things have always been different with George.
He’s never been entirely sure why, but he has his guesses. Sapnap definitely seems fairly certain in his own assumptions, all knowing smiles across the kitchen island and raised eyebrows and elbows to the ribs on the couch whenever Dream makes an offhand comment about calling with George. Dream thinks he’s better off leaving the question unspoken, locking it away inside a box for later examination.

or; George's visa gets approved while Sapnap is still in North Carolina. Dream and George decide they've already waited long enough.

It wasn’t in their plans to make it public. The camera wasn’t supposed to capture that part of the room, they weren’t supposed to get in frame. The angle was weird, but showed enough.
To Clay, it almost seemed inevitable. George looked a little embarrassed.
It wasn’t in their plans to let people know, but it wasn’t in their plans to date in the first place either. Plans changed, feelings evolved. That was life, wasn’t it?
But not everything was congratulations and support.
Suddenly, everyone had an opinion. Suddenly, everyone knew more than them. Hating was easy and fun, more than respecting people’s feelings and privacy. He was past that, at this point. It hardly mattered, anyways. He had way better things to focus on.
He had the best thing to give his undivided attention to.

Dream doesn’t hesitate to lean forward and press his lips to George’s for just a quick second, more of a peck than a real kiss, but George’s cheeks heat up nonetheless.
“I don’t care about any of this being a secret,” Dream gestures vaguely to their current positioning as if to prove his point. “I want privacy, sure, so I still don’t think we should outright tell everyone. But I want to be myself, I want to keep acting the way we always have. If they happen to guess the truth, then… oh well.”

Dream hated how helpless he felt, watching his best friend throw up right in front of him and not knowing if he was allowed to touch him. Did George want him here at all?
He got his answer when George reached for him, blind hands in his shirt, face still in the toilet. “Please.” The word echoed shaky, vulnerable, completely stripped of dignity off the white porcelain.
There was no way Dream was denying him when he asked like that.
George gets sick and Dream does anything he can to make him feel better, all while trying not to expose his ridiculously massive crush. The overworked college student sick fic you've all been waiting for.

He really didn’t know where that had come from, the warmth and closeness pulling his thoughts straight off his tongue, but George’s mouth parted sweetly and his cheeks were bright pink and Dream didn’t regret a thing.
“Why?” George breathed, smiling a little, like he was trying not to but couldn’t quite manage it.
Dream was tingly all over. “Because I like it.”
Dream gets sick and George, to his amazement, is actually very soft and caring about it. Surely nothing life-changing will come of this.
