Set between the Degeneration animated movie and just before the mysterious disappearance of Jill in the other Spencer Mansion by the sea, Leon navigates his Feelings™ about his employers while also trying to act as a double agent to spy on the newly formed BSAA. Despite it having been nearly seven years since the inident in RC, Leon finds it's easy to connect with the other folks that were more or less affected, if not involved, in the whole fiasco than his own teammates. Let's hope the great US government doesn't get the drop on his new magic obtained through the power of friendship before it has the chance to bloom...
Alternatively, I wanted to try to fit in a non-combat heavy mission fic where Leon and Chris get to meet which could be as canon-compliant as possible (which is solely because i personally love canon compliancy).

Best omegaverse dynamic interpretations, amazing writing skills that really help visualize the scenes and the characters being like barely ooc, that if Da Wei himself wrote genshin impact omegaverse, he would write this fic.
