“Yosuke…” Souji says in his best Souji voice, the one full of compassion that Yosuke loathes to love. “If it’s bothering you so much, we can just try it on each other.”
“…The what now?”
“We can kiss. Get it out of the way.” He shrugs, like he’s suggesting they buy coconut water instead of kissing each other on the mouth. “To get some practice.”

Summary
They’d be leaving tomorrow — Ryunosuke knew that was the reason tonight felt lonelier, but the more he stuck with Asogi, the more the sense of fluttering nervousness seemed to go away at the thought of Britain; Asogi and home — the night and the sea.
Here was Ryunosuke, age 23, still eager to stay awake despite the travel that awaited him and the winter that caused him to sleep. Perhaps it was the distant scent of food that kept him going, the want to sear the sight he saw into his mind, the strange magnetisation Asogi had on him tonight, or a mixture of all three that made him do so. Either way, Ryunosuke didn’t want the night to end, even if he was aware that he’ll regret that decision tomorrow.

On the night before their departure, Ryunosuke and Asogi take a walk, and Asogi gives Ryunosuke something to think about.

Summary
Susato – beautiful, elegant, and witty Susato – has always reminded Haori of the cherry blossoms she enjoys watching every spring; the fact that her friend chose sakura pink fabric for her hakama is mere coincidence. After the trial, in which Susato pulled all the strings to save Haori's life, even so much as dressing up as a man and adopting a brand-new identity, Haori's resemblance would only be reinforced. The gallant Ryutarou – kind and gentle and unflinching in his (her?) faith towards the desperate young woman – had touched her heart in ways she hadn't considered before. On their way home, as Haori held her parasol for a dishevelled (but no less shining) prince in the August rain, she felt blessed to have known such a great friend.
