Stiles' path has led him to Austin where he has become friends with a paramedic named TK and, reluctantly, the team that comes with him. Stiles hasn't missed having a pack, because he doesn't think he ever had one, or a team, because he was never really part of the ones he was on, but maybe finding one now is worth more than it would have been before.

Today has been strange and, considering the majority of Bucky’s life, when he says strange, Bucky really means that.
It’s not one big thing that makes it strange. He’s fought giant interdimensional squid monsters while standing on the shoulder of the statue of liberty. Things like that don’t faze him any more. It’s the little things that are making the back of his brain itch. All the little things that are starting to add up. It’s that uncanny valley feeling: everything just a little left of normal, not enough for you to say exactly what's wrong, but enough that you know something isn’t right.
And he’s pretty sure it’s got something to do with Clint Barton.

Henry makes a valiant effort to glare at him, but his eyes flutter shut and he frowns like he’s not sure how it happened. He manages to blink them back open and says, “I’m fine.”
“You’re dead on your fuckin’ feet. Tell me what day it is and I’ll let you walk outta here on your own.”
“Um.”
Alex snorts. “Nice effort. Come on. I’m taking you to my room.” He picks up Henry’s bag and slings it over his shoulder with his own, and Henry gives him a squinty little frown. “Stop being cute,” Alex says.
“You stop being cute,” Henry mumbles. Then, “Fuck. Fine, I need a nap.”Alex steals a bag, makes a friend and learns some things about himself.
