Growing uneasy, he spoke up. “Knock knock, someone there?” He teased, unamused. That got a reaction out of Cerise, as she shuffled back a small distance with her eyebrows shot up in realisation, only to then tilt her head to the side like a lost puppy. Xander would’ve found it cute, if it wasn’t for what she signed right after.
The smallest ‘Are you okay?’ was asked with her shaky zombie hands, a clear pout plastered on her face, and Xander instantly almost gagged.
His face shifted into a subtle sneer. It had been well, years since he’s been asked that. And sure, alright, he could recall that last time, he was able to just reply with a simple ‘Yes,’ even if he wasn’t fine, and go on with his merry day. But after a decade of isolation, today felt different, and he swore that if Cerise wanted to, she could’ve just teared apart his ribcage right this moment and feed on his heart, turning it to shreds, and that experience wouldn’t make much of a difference to how he felt at that single question.
Is he okay?in where a man trying to fight through the apocalypse and live through his grief and trauma finds happiness in the most unexpected place.

Summary
Katsuki brushes aside Izuku’s hands and tries not to worry over how they tremor even now at rest. Instead, he attempts to focus on the task at hand (which is difficult enough as it is with the way his knuckles brush Izuku’s bare stomach ever so lightly as he works his way up the shirt), hesitating when he gets to the few before the top.
“You want it buttoned all the way?” Katsuki asks.
Izuku nods. “Yeah, same as always.”
“It looks better with the top ones unbuttoned,” Katsuki challenges.
“I’m not a delinquent, Kacchan,” Izuku counters.
Katsuki squares him with a deadpan stare, a raised eyebrow.
Or: Katsuki knows there's something wrong with Izuku's hands, it's obvious. He just wishes Izuku would trust him enough to tell him. After lots of observation and a mishap with some ice, Izuku is finally forced to accept help.

The ship's horn sounded again, loud, washing through the air like a tangible thing he could grab if he tried hard enough, and another shiver wracked his body, involuntary and painful. The relief he felt was overwhelmed by the reminder he still had to sit in this squalid boat until his rescue.
He heard a contemplative noise from behind him that he had learned a while ago meant Sebastian was assessing his health.
"Here, young master," Sebastian said quietly, wrapping the wool coat on his shoulders tighter, as if that could help, as if he wasn't still just as wet as before. When Sebastian pulled his hand away, Ciel was dismayed to find himself automatically leaning with it, chasing the contact.
It had been a rough night. He hadn't slept yet. He doubted it meant anything.
Ciel and Sebastian, in the aftermath of the Campania's sinking, in the day after being rescued.

Unfortunately, or fortunately, the process of Venom's attachment is enough to wake Connor up, leaving Connor to deal with his new deviancy AND an alien life form sharing his biocomponents.
