Summary
The attacks had been brutal. Within just a few days, four mundanes were killed by vampires, and one mundane was killed by a werewolf. They were random, they were messy, and they were quick. And finding who was responsible for these murders turned out to be a much more dangerous task than Alec had planned.

Summary
A demon is loose in the Institute and possessing and killing Shadowhunters. Alec falls victim to it and ends up spiraling while trying to right his perceived wrongs in the most unhealthy ways possible. His friends and family try to save him before it's too late.
An angsty Alec alternate version of the demon possession and fallout of ep204 through ep209. All changes made are for the purpose of making Alec feel worse or adding a little more Malec into my life. A little more hurt and a little more comfort than canon.

“Uh.” Sam blinks. Bucky blinks back at him. “You’re gonna turn around, right?” Sam asks. If they’re really being forced to share a bed, he refuses to be the little spoon.
“I’m taller,” Bucky says immediately.
“We’re the same height.”
“Nah, I’m definitely taller.”
“Why does that even matter?” Sam asks incredulously.

Like maybe if Steve was going steady with some pretty dame it wouldn’t matter that Bucky would be dead in a ditch somewhere, not even to Bucky.
Bucky thinks that maybe if he tells himself this enough, it will become true.
