Summary
Obi-wan Kenobi has survived the mines of Bandomeer. He has fought through the Melida-Daan conflict and come out scarred and battered on the other side, barely hanging on to his faith in his master and himself. So what if a Sith artifact, wielded by a vengeful Xanatos, sent Obi-wan a universe away, dropping him right in the middle of a completely different mining operation? Now in some region of strange space called the "delta quadrant" where no one seems to have even heard of the force, Obi-wan must forge ahead and keep his newfound friends safe, using his skills and the shred of the force that hitched along to keep everything afloat.

aka I came out of the Haunted Mansion movie with the desire to mash 2023 and 2003 Gracey (for whom I would totally have spent the rest of eternity in a ghost mansion) together and this is what happened. Also Harriet and Gabbie are in love, Father Kent is an AroAce icon, and Travis continues to be the most loved kid on the planet. (plus Bruce is there)

Summary
Kara is at the end of her nursing shift when a violent man is brought in with an arrow wound. When he spits blood on her, Kara is transported elsewhere. Soon she's doing emergency wound care on book characters and trying not to lose it. She can't watch people suffer even if it isn't real, but Aragorn is very suspicious of a woman who tells no clear story and smells like an orc.
“Stranger things have happened than you or I have years to tell of it," Gandalf said. "Why does she unsettle you? Surely you do not feel threatened. I am tolerably certain you could defeat her if it came to violence.”
Aragorn scoffed at his gentle humor. “I’m glad to amuse you. There are more dangers than warriors and swords. Need I tell a wizard that?"
“I can assure you she is not evil and has not a whisper of magic.”
“Yet a beautiful woman appears directly in our path, leagues from civilization, and immediately gains the hobbits’ trust. No wizardry, you say?”
Kara was not *unhappy* at being called a beautiful woman (although his standards for human women, as opposed to elves, were probably low), but she was unhappy to be stuck eavesdropping. She’d seen this scene too many times in movies. They would definitely see her.- Language:

There was another student here.
Tom recognized him vaguely—while transfer students were not necessarily uncommon due to the war, they were rare enough to at least make an impression. This particular transfer student was in his year, sorted into Ravenclaw after an impressively long hat stall. He looked like he might be descended from the Potter line, but he did not share the surname so his lineage was of no particular interest to Tom. Nothing about him was of particular interest to Tom, in fact, and yet here he stood, holding the book that Tom had come here to find.
It would be a good time to turn away. The Restricted Section was restricted for a reason—only books documenting extremely dangerous or extremely advanced magic were stored here.
Tom’s feet, however, suddenly felt as if they were made of lead. It wasn’t magic keeping him tied down, but something far more mysterious like curiosity or even fate. In any case, the delay was all it took for the Ravenclaw to lift his chin and meet Tom’s eyes.
This Ravenclaw, Tom realized, had eyes as blindingly green as the Killing Curse.
