Summary
A Master and a Padawan are meant to choose each other. Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano never had that choice. Now, after years on the battlefield, they choose to share a night of unbridled passion…and feelings that have weighed heavy on their hearts. Attachment is forbidden for Jedi, but Anakin and Ahsoka always break the rules anyway. By night the two share all they are. By day they fight side by side to save a wartorn galaxy - Anakin because it is his destiny and Ahsoka because she must follow her Master. Every struggle weaves them closer together in the Force. After all, it is the will of the Force they are side by side, and who are they to deny the Force's will?
For Anakin, Ahsoka is a bright light guiding him away from the Dark. Ahsoka has been called fearless, and is not afraid of his darkness. There are greater threats to the galaxy, and to the Light, than Anakin. Now, as a web of impending devastation wraps ever tighter around everyone and betrayals disrupt everything they thought they knew about the Order, Darkness and Light, and the nature of the Force itself, Anakin and Ahsoka will have to face the truth of what they have become, and the cosmic destiny that has chosen them both.

Summary
The Jedi Order prides itself on its (theoretically) very high number of betas (if someone actually did the math, they'd find the percentage comparable to the general population). Betas, so much more balanced than needy omegas or, Force forbid, demanding alphas. Pack bonds outside the Order are strictly forbidden. Pack bonds within the Order are expected to be flexible, fluid, easily shifted in the extreme. Impermanent - especially between Master and Padawan. After all, attachment is a quick path to the dark side. This creates a level of separation between the Jedi and the rest of the galaxy, and most believe that distance is a good thing.
At age sixteen, months into the Clone War, gifted Jedi initiate Ahsoka Tano presents as an alpha. It explains a lot; the fiery temper, the resistance to authority. To the great annoyance of both of them, she is assigned as Padawan to Anakin Skywalker, the Chosen One, an omega, and someone the Council also has trouble controlling. The idea is to fight fire with fire, and maybe they'll burn each other out.
