“What?" Hiccup turns sharply toward Jack, his face quickly turning red.
“You’re strange.”
Jack’s smile slowly appears.
“I like that.”
Hiccup takes a deep breath.
If there was one thing Hiccup had learned from his life as an outcast, it was that some things didn’t happen without a reason – being more or less hated by everyone wasn’t exactly a common skill. Hiccup had even considered turning it into a side hustle once. Maybe selling a course.
He’d certainly have a better chance of succeeding at that than killing a dragon.
So, imagine his surprise when Jack, some random boy who literally barged into his life through the front door– doesn’t immediately hate him.
Nothing happens without a reason. Hiccup is about to find that out. And this time, he won’t be alone.
A story about fate and gods. But, mostly, love.
Or, alternatively: the first HTTYD movie, but with some PJ elements and a lot of poetic writing

The hospital doors slid open with a pneumatic hiss that sounded like freedom itself, spilling afternoon sunlight across the linoleum where Harley stood bouncing on the balls of his feet.
He shifted his plastic bag of prescriptions from one hand to the other, already inching toward the parking lot like a dog straining against an invisible leash.
"Finally," Harley breathed, squinting against the brightness. He turned back to where Tony was still arguing with a nurse about paperwork. "Hey! Tony! Tell me I'm cleared for everything, because if they try to wheel me out of here in one of those chairs with the wonky wheels, I'm throwing myself out another window just to speed up the process."
Tony's head snapped up, his coffee sloshing dangerously over the rim of his cup.

Summary
Jack Frost and E. Aster Bunnymund haven’t been getting along recently. Ever since defeating Pitch seven months ago, things have gotten better between the two, but a few months is hardly enough time to get over forty years of dislike and distrust.
After the two screw up a battle due to their fighting, they find themselves waking up mortal in the Viking Ages. Jack and Bunny try to find a way to return to their own time, but higher powers and fate seem to have other plans for them. Bunny’s past begins to haunt him as he struggles with an abrupt transformation, and Jack, used to being invisible, finds himself gravitating towards this new life—especially to one brand new Chief of Berk, Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III.In which Jack and Bunny are thrown back into the Viking Ages—Jack gets comfortable, Hiccup sucks at dealing with his own grief, and Bunny is forcibly sentenced to Viking Babysitting. At least there’s cool dragons.
