Summary
Picking up right after 15X18 we watch the events of 15x19 and 15x20 happen, but in a way that makes more sense and leads to Dean pulling his head out of his you know what and going to save his angel. Part 1 is angsty with a little fluff but is complete. Part 2 is a disgusting amount of fluff with only mild angst, mostly in the form of everyone working on their trauma.
Join me as we see our favorite characters finally get the happy ending they ALL deserve. Not just the TFW 2.0, but the characters that were long forgotten.

Dean Winchester hated hospitals, but in June of 1976 he found himself in the waiting room of San Francisco General waiting for Bobby to be discharged when a gurney rolls in and a man Dean has never seen frantically gives the name of the critical patient to the staff at the desk.“Castiel, Castiel Novak.”
Dean spilled his coffee as he stood straight up stopping himself from running to the desk. This couldn’t be real.
This wasn’t happening. He must have heard wrong.
And with that Dean found he couldn't escape the pull of his past.
**This is a Twist and Shout alternate ending (see below for where it starts - spoiler for T & S). If you haven't read Twist and Shout it makes more sense to read that first, although please make sure to heed the tags. Of course getting what you wish for is never as simple as it first appears and it isn't long before Dean discovers being with Castiel means getting a hell of a lot more than he bargained for.

Dean had known Cas to go over protective on him before, but this was ridiculous. It was only a bit of food poisoning, or a bug. Living most of his life on the road, surviving on truck stops and greasy diner food, Dean had had plenty in his time. Twenty four hours at the most and he’d be back to his usual self. There was really no need for Cas’ panic.Was weird that he hadn’t healed him though.
“Your healing mojo must be off,” Dean grumbled. “Still feel like crap.”
“You’re not sick.” Cas' eyes never left the road ahead.
“Oh yeah?” Dean cocked a cheeky eyebrow, “The chunks I blew at the side of the road back there would prove otherwise.”
“You’re not sick,” Cas repeated, deathly serious. “...You’re pregnant.”
