This fic is one of my favourite things ever, despite the fact that a) it's essentially gen, and b) it's kidfic, neither of which I enjoy on general principles. It's still perfection. Also the first time I ever noticed Mycroft's ring, because I am exactly that observant.

Much as I love Lestrade, I had enormous difficulty slashing him with anyone in Sherlock, and couldn't work out why. He just seemed so sensible, I suppose. However, Lestrade/Wallander just... works. That's all I can say.
