Everybody is a little quieter but Mike isn't showing any signs of deppression which I know was like a legitimate concern. Gideon joins the Cohort, and learns that sometimes getting everything you always wanted isn't always everything it's cracked up to be. Both try to clumsily navigate what a relationship is supposed to look like after years of mutual hatred, followed by trauma bonding and one single honest conversation about big feelings. They do it all through trading letters, and are totally normal about it. Palamedes Sextus is a good, long-suffering friend.
