“You know we love you, Tommy?”
Tommy tensed and his eyes cautiously flickered up to meet Wilbur’s warm gaze. His first instinct was to nod and reciprocate the verbal affection, though something inside him —something insecure that had been broken far too many times over— seized up in his gut and made his lungs contract unnaturally. He stared up at Wil and the acknowledgement died on his tongue.
It caught Tommy off guard when something he couldn’t quite place faltered in Wilbur’s expression. His smile looked misplaced beneath the shock that flashed in his eyes and the blonde wondered how on earth this man could look at Tommy and still have something to smile about.
Wilbur studied his little brother for a moment before he hummed softly and leaned down to press a lingering kiss to the crown of Tommy’s head. “We love you.”

OR, Wilbur takes Tommy back to his place after a concerning phone call, and though the bruises littering his skin speak for themselves, there's something Tommy isn't telling Wilbur; something he would rather die than tell anyone.

Siren snorted. “No. I’m just here to order some food.”
“Wh-What about him?” The cashier asked, glancing at Tommy. “Did you- did you kidnap him?”
“I mean… yeah, let’s go with that in case this ends up on the news,” Siren shrugged, looking back at Tommy. “I kidnapped you, right?”
“Yeah, sure,” Tommy agreed, knowing that if they said he was kidnapped, it would keep people from getting suspicious of why he was seen in public with Siren. “Anyway, can I get the chicken nuggets happy meal, with a coke?”
or, how Tommy—who is not a hero, or a villain, or even a vigilante—saves the life of one of L'Manberg's most feared supervillains, and accidentally ends up becoming the resident doctor for every supervillain in town (and maybe gets a family along the way too).

Lying on the floor of their living space having a crisis on the verge of crying was not where Ranboo was expecting to be at 3 in the morning. This was also nowhere near where Tubbo expected his best friend and roommate to be when he came back from the bathroom after the stream, but he just lays down beside Ranboo and stays because he senses Ranboo needs someone to be there for them.
