It wasn't that Jayce minded-- he was curious, even!-- but he was at a complete loss. When Viktor asks him to participate as a test-subject, his mind is even further blown--
but of course, Jayce Talis said yes.
How could anyone miss out on such an opportunity? Between the toys beyond anything he's seen before, the draw of domination, and the fact it was his very attractive coworker and closest friend-- his partner-- who he definitely didn't have feelings for, of course. Friends make friends stuff all the time, and Jayce did break Viktor's cane. It'd be a nice thing to do. A cane, plus some cool tools, and Jayce will be able to know he's a good friend. He likes this plan.

Summary
It was a nightmare. Vox wasn’t desperate - wasn’t stupid. He’d never before, not in life and not in Hell, tried fucking around with someone if he couldn’t control them afterward. What the fuck had he been thinking?
Vox is having an identity crisis. Valentino is being ghosted. Neither of them are very happy about the situation. Fortunately, they're two very reasonable men, who can work this out like adults.
