Summary
August 2nd, 2025. A Saturday. But for the residents of Rajakkad, the Kerala Police, one ex-IG and her husband, and one Cable TV operator-turned-producer and his family, it was — if we may exaggerate — the day of horrors. Not everyone in Rajakkad can forget the infamous case that happened twelve years ago on this very date. Especially not when the locals are so, so very kind about reminding you. Every. Single. Day.
So, how does everyone react when August 2nd rolls around again? Will Thomas Bastin hide under his desk, muttering about “taking a leave today”? Will Geetha and Prabhakar flop back into bed in the U.S., pretending the date doesn’t exist? Will Georgekutty and his family survive the emotional onslaught, or will compost pits and suspicious glances finally claim them?
Twelve years later, the ghosts of past murders, missing bodies, and meticulously crafted alibis are still very much alive — and they’re definitely judging you.- Language:

The Extremely Flawless, Utterly Logical, No-Way-This-backfires, plan of convincing Ser Vaemond Velaryon by dealingwith_writing

Summary
Princess Rhaenyra needed heirs. Laenor couldn’t give her heirs. Harwin Strong was too obvious. So, logically, the only option was… yeah, don’t ask questions. The important thing is the kids look like Velaryons, and everyone’s confused but also kind of impressed. Even Laenor doesn’t know how it happened. Nobody talks about it. Ever.
This is the story of the worst plan ever made, which somehow worked too well, and why nobody should let Rhaenyra make decisions unsupervised.
Also, heavily inspired by one particular fic I read but I think the author deleted it.

However, when her grandfather puts her cousin Viserys in charge of the family law firm in her stead, Rhaenys decides to move to the countryside, to a house she's inherited from her mom, which she's never been to. Upon her arrival, she has an episodic encounter with her neighbor, Corlys Velaryon. Though he is one of the country's most famous businessmen, he keeps a low profile and has a quiet life, which Rhaenys is going to disrupt.

Summary
What if Ned wasn't beheaded in King's Landing and Catelyn didn't die at the Red Wedding? Just over two years ago I asked myself those questions, and with the encouragement of some wonderful people I started this story.
This story takes place entirely in the canon universe, diverging from GRRM's epic at two points--Ned's execution and Catelyn's murder at the Twins--and examines all the ways that the survival of these two people might have changed events both large and small in the world of Westeros. The ripples have far reaching consequences for many throughout the Seven Kingdoms, but at its heart, this is a story of two people, their marriage, their family, and the North.
