26 and standing at the head of Parker Industries, Peter feels young in every way. He doesn't know himself, he lacks a lot of experience, and he's struggling to get a grip on what he thinks of the merc with the mouth, an absolute force who has starting pushing his desires in a direction that terrifies him.
He desperately tries to come to terms with sexuality, even when it means dragging Wade flat on his face.
Takes place after the dance scene in Spider-man/Deadpool, with important plot details omitted. Follows these two through extreme character growth.

Summary
When it was Spidey, it didn’t matter; drenched in cloud light, or dirty as a sewer rat, Wade would want him.
Somewhere in the middle of another run-of-the-mill crime fighting scene, Spiderman loses his morale. Deadpool's there to pick up the slack.

Deadpool died all the time. It was kind of a modus operandi with the mercenary. He was used to it. In a sick way, Peter was also used to it. The merc would take a bullet to the brain like a tic tac. No matter how gnarled or dismembered he became, Deadpool always pulled himself together, and it was normal.

Peter was having a strange streak of good luck. He moved to a new school and he didn't get punched on the first day. His new town was warm and sunny and the new house was perfect. He had finally made some friends and even had good teachers. Aunt May loved her new job. Things were going almost too well.
Luckily, Wade Wilson is more than happy to step in and ruin all of it with four stupid words.

Wade scoffs, shaking his head and elbowing Peter in the side. “Sure,” he says, sarcastic. “That’s why your spidey-sense doesn’t see me.”
Peter’s on the verge of laughing, wanting to join Wade in his amusement, but he freezes. His entire body goes still. He finds himself staring at a roof three buildings over, not even looking at anything. Two blocks away, a car alarm finally shuts off.
“I never told you that,” Peter says, the realization startling him.
Or: Peter's starting to realize just how much Wade knows about him.

Wade kicks a door open – Peter must’ve fallen asleep, because it doesn’t seem like they went very far – and then Peter’s being laid on a couch. The spring that’s always stuck out digs into Peter’s back, making him whine in the back of his throat, but Peter’s too tired to shift to the side.
And then, very abruptly, Peter’s eyes fly open. Because Wade doesn’t have springs sticking out of his couch. Peter has springs sticking out of his couch.
Or: Peter realizes that Wade knows where he lives, and Wade doesn't seem inclined to tell Peter how he knows.

“Hiya, Peter,” Deadpool is standing there in all his red and black glory, sounding deceptively cheerful. All too cheerful, in fact, for a gun resting against one muscular thigh and a hand reaching back to, no doubt, grab a katana. “Peter Parker,” Deadpool continues, saying his name like he wants to bite into it. It’s actually kind of hot. God. Focus, Peter. Is Deadpool seriously going to try to kill him now?
All too late, Peter realizes that Spider-Man never responded to Deadpool’s messages.

When he's blackmailed by, of all people, a weird work acquaintance who needs Spider-Man gone for obviously illegal purposes, Peter is forced to hang up the suit- at least temporarily -until he can resolve the situation. Unfortunately, things start to get sticky when Deadpool, who Spider-Man's been on-again off-again with (okay, yeah, lowkey messing around with), crashes into Peter's life and demands the photographer help him figure out what's got his favorite webhead so spooked.
Peter's life is really weird.
