Summary
“You have no respect for my name whatsoever,” Byakuya practically almost growled. If Hajime’s comment about Byakuya was true, it was being debunked because Makoto just watched the heir’s supposedly “dead-cold” expression turn into a flushed mess of anger. For being so “stone-cold”, Byakuya Togami was sure someone Makoto could easily get a rise of. “I could buy this whole street and cafe if I please.”
Makoto challenged this pompous jerk. Guess that threat was better than him trying to fire him. "Be my guest."
Byakuya "Togami"'s icy blue eyes narrowed. With the way the guy sent a glare his way, Makoto was almost convinced that he was dead-serious.
He was dead serious.

Byakuya gets humbled by Makoto making his coffee and decides to pay him back by buying the cafe and pretty much, Makoto and the rest of the employees working there. Makoto, annoyed by this jerk decided to play along as he knew he could reap some benefits if he played the game well. Even if it was petty revenge, Byakuya couldn't help but come by the cafe to banter with Makoto. Was it the banter he came for or that dimpled smile?

Tags: Super LighterCentric, mostly just form his POV, tags will update as I go, I didn't mean for this to be a multichap but part 4 became 1.5K words even before I reworte it and I just had to split it up oops, this kind of became a "how Lighter joined the gang, came to call SoC his family, and then fell in love with Billy" fic, I will make sure to tag appropriately chapter by chapter any TWs that come up, but overall know that I am aiming for this fic to have more comfort than hurt, and it is also filled with copious amounts of extrapolation from canon sandwiched between my headcanons and whatever makes the fic flow best lol..., also on the semi-public kissing tag it's the same as my other fic where no one's around to witness them make out but they are outside lmao)
Five times Billy gave Lighter his scarf, and the one time Lighter kept it.
