On any other day Chan would have still been at the company. He should still be at the company.
And instead, he's walked into his shared apartment, taken two steps inside before he heard the shaky gasp of breath and moved quickly down the hallway in case someone was hurt.

Summary
“Maybe you need a personal destress toy.”
A startled laugh comes out of Chan’s mouth before he can stop it. “What do you even mean?” he asks, ears heating up at the mortifying prospect that Hyunjin is going to say something about a fleshlight. Or worse. Chan’s mind runs rampant in an instant, wondering if it’ll be more embarrassing to lie and have Hyunjin see right through him immediately.
But Hyunjin just shrugs. “What? I have one.” Chan’s brow furrows, and he sips at the bottom of his drink — tries not to make a sucked-lemon face — just to have an excuse not to respond. Is Hyunjin really going to talk about his sex toys right now?
He doesn’t. Instead, he leans into Chan’s space. One elbow on the table and the other hand in his own lap, somehow dangerously close to Chan’s spread thighs. Hyunjin absently plucks the little umbrella out of an empty glass on the table and twirls it between his pretty fingers. “I suppose I could just share mine, right?” he says, somehow hushed in the loud club, like he’s sharing a secret.
“Jisung, I mean.”
Hyunjin offers to help Chan destress.

Summary
Seungmin, despite how badly he wanted to give up, somehow had enough fight in him to call the one number he had been afraid of for so long -- the suicide help line. The man on the other end - Chris - was so kind and understanding. For the first time in years, Seungmin felt seen. Understood.
Until he looked at the number he had actually called.
The person he had been talking to wasn't with the suicide help line... so why did he stay on the call with him? Why did this stranger talk to Seungmin as though he was anything other than irreparable? Why did he seem so scared when Seungmin realized his fatal mistake?
And why did this person seem to haunt Seungmin at every turn?

Calling them Mommy and Daddy had started as a joke, but it stayed because that’s how they treated him, and he let it. He should have been safe in it, soft in it.
But lately his thoughts won’t stop twisting, filth curling under until all he can imagine is Mommy and Daddy holding him down, loving him the way they love each other. He knows it’s wrong. He knows it makes him a bad baby. But he can’t stop peeking through doors, can’t stop touching himself when he should be sleeping, can’t stop the shame that ruins him even as he sinks deeper into it.

Jeongin was always their good baby. But good babies aren’t supposed to think like this, aren’t supposed to sneak out at night and touch themselves to Mommy and Daddy. He knows he’s a bad baby now but he can’t stop.

He looks back once, twice, ensuring that the purple bottle hasn't moved from its spot since Seungmin entered the kitchen. Otherwise, if he drank from it, even the slightest shift would catch his eye.

“Don’t mind the dogs,” Seungmin says, squeezing out his sponge. Bubbles drip down his fingers, the bone of his wrist, plinking as they hit the bottom of the metal basin. “They get loud after nightfall.”
Chan stays quiet.
Seungmin pauses his scrubbing. “You okay?” He turns around, fully expecting Chan to be perusing through his spices, poking and prodding at the labels. Organizing them by alphabetical order, maybe.
Instead, Chan stares straight ahead, at Seungmin’s closed gingham curtains. They shiver the slightest bit, even though he swears he closed the windows tightly and flipped the latch. It’s a requirement these days, as summer curls into fall and the biting winds threaten to break the seal around his entrances.
“Seungminnie,” he says, carefully blank, eyes hollow. “I don’t think those are dogs.”

Summary
Four case-control studies that are about control, in four different ways.
Each story stands alone and can be read independently of the others, but they are interwoven and personally I think (hope!) some of the fun is the multiple POV on certain moments that comes from reading them all.
The timeline follows a span of events that overlap, but from 'earliest' to 'latest' the Cases follow posting order, ie 35 first and 143 last, and if you don't have a preference then that's the order I would recommend reading them in.
