Dimitri’s hand slides along his jeans and oh, that’s new, the tug of his fingers on the vibrator still within him. He jolts at it, gasping, and suddenly the math doesn’t seem to matter at all.
Not when Dimitri is pressing against him like this, raw and hungry and full of desire, the way Claude’s always wanted to have him.

Claude interlaced his fingers and stretched his arms above his head. “You focus on wooing Teach, then. I’ll start poking my nose around.” He got a glint in his eye when he faced Dimitri. “So, you know, what we’re both best at.”
Dimitri was troubled by his inability to stifle his flush, Claude all too pleased to see his cheeks go red. In an attempt to lessen the focus on him, Dimitri asked, “Will you tell me why you left the Alliance in my hands?”
“Will you tell me why you keep looking places without seeing what’s there?”
“That—” Dimitri worked around a tightening throat. There it was again: the steely lining to Claude’s expression that belonged to the version of him forged by the battlefield, not the too-young boy standing there. Still, he had no choice but to say, “No.”
“Then you’re out of luck, Prince.”
Out of luck, out of time, out of your mind, little prince.
Dimitri clenched his fists. “I suppose I am.”
