It wasn’t a feeling that overcame him often; those moments were few and far between these days... but for the time, things were okay. Life underground was an adjustment for everyone, but finding the little moments of untroubled thought was a welcome gift to those trying to pull a society out from the rubble of war.
If only he could always feel this way, he knew it was never meant to last. Good things never lasted long in Tenna's possession.

Summary
After Spamton is beaten half to death by a Darkner he ripped off, Tenna discovers his broken body and unaware of his true identity, decides to take care of him. Spamton has all sorts of ideas on how he can use this situation to his advantage, if he can only get over the minor obstacle of his jaw being wired shut.
