Summary
It was a trivial thing, in the end, to wrench the Coreflame from his chest and ascend to divinity.
Death’s garden beckoned his mortal remains—an eternity of rest promised by destiny. Yet, just as Anaxagoras the Foolish was about to take the hand offered by his former student, the wheel of fortune spun once more, reweaving the threads of another fate.
He woke up in a world so similar, yet so unlike his own.
He woke up as himself, but not.
He woke up-
In a prison cell.
(A tale of Anaxagoras. The Foolish.)

He does not fear what is rightfully beneath him.
