Summary
Doyoung considers himself a moral person, he really does. He’d die before he’d say anything to anyone that a patient has told him in confidence, something that could trace back to them, or any details of a session. No exceptions, no slip-ups, no compromises.
But sometimes the rest makes him feel like he’s going to explode.

Summary
Maybe it’s silly, as unremarkable as Jeongin feels— but he thinks he’d promise next years if it meant that his stranger would look at him and smile just one more time.
He thinks if he were on a bench in a very crowded place, picking up bits of conversations, and watching people go by, he’d have a hard time not staring if his stranger were there. Of course, he’d never have the gall to say hello. He’s unremarkable, in the grand scheme of things. But he likes to admire the remarkable.
Like beautiful men, and Jesus on the cross, and the way his heart picked up for a reason other than dread for the first time in ages.
(OR: Jeongin meets Hyunjin on a Wednesday afternoon, and Jesus stays dead.)

Summary
When the man called Taxian-Jun arrives, years later, it’s the coming of a storm.
He sweeps into a dinner appointment between Chu Wanning and a client, clad in black, a smirk tugging at his mouth. Over the spark of irritation, Chu Wanning can’t help but admire his lean frame, the way his hair, cut rebelliously short, falls over smoldering, dark eyes. The way he towers over him, even when Chu Wanning rises to full height.
Chu Wanning’s heart races as Taxian-Jun leans in close, ignoring the shouts and gasps around them.
“Sakaki of Ran,” he purrs in their native tongue. “You’re mine.”
Chu Wanning lifts his chin. “I don’t know you.”
“You will,” Taxian-Jun says, and leaves.
In which Chu Wanning is a courtesan serving Chinese merchants in Nagasaki, Japan, and Taxian-Jun decides to make him his.- Language:
