A show of trust. Insurance against a falling out. Jaemin did not want that. Jaemin did not want to marry a princess. He wanted to marry someone of his own choice.

    Why did the princes in fairy tales always get to marry their true loves, but the princes in real life did not?

    Jaemin looked out the palace window to the twisting waves, and wondered how fast they could carry him away.
