Summary
Mark searches his eyes for something, not quite knowing what, just any sort of confirmation that what he was saying wasn’t what he truly meant.
“I just think,” Donghyuck licks his lips and Mark notices how chapped they are, the same way he notices the dark circles under his eyes, “I think we should try dating other people.”
Or: Mark and Donghyuck break up only to find their way back to each other again.

“Jaemin please, it’s what this band needs. Babies always save marriages.”
“Hyuck you fool, you already have a pet. A five foot eleven pet that takes up half our living space and food.”

Summary
Marriages were always a political gesture. You, marry your daughter to my son, and then our diplomatic bond will be public and non-reversible. It was a statement more than anything. A show of trust. Insurance against a falling out. Jaemin did not want that. Jaemin did not want to marry a princess. He wanted to marry someone of his own choice.
Why did the princes in fairy tales always get to marry their true loves, but the princes in real life did not?
Jaemin looked out the palace window to the twisting waves, and wondered how fast they could carry him away.

Summary
“Want me to drive today?”
Jeno jumps in his hold, almost knocking them both off the bed. “No!” he exclaims, sitting up, and Mark can’t help but start laughing. “I said I’d take you to the beach, I’m taking you to the beach. I’m true to my words.”
“I know you are,” Mark responds, fondly. “Breakfast on the road, then?”
(Alternatively, Jeno gets his driving license, Mark is in love, and the road ahead is infinite for the two of them.)

Summary
Donghyuck knows how to pray, how to rebuke the devil and walk through the valley of the shadow of death, how to let the Word destroy you and then put you back together. He knows how to accept penance for his sins, say his repentance and keep his head down. Or at least, try to.
What he was never prepared for, however, is how to handle Mark Lee.
