Summary
Then they appeared. Three figures, emerging from the shadows, their forms dark and wraithlike in the dim blue glow.
At first, they seemed like nothing more than silhouettes. But as they stepped forward, more details emerged, each one more horrifying than the last. One of them - no, two of them - moved like animals, low to the ground, and one even crawling on all fours. Their bone-clad bodies shuddered, their movements unnatural, and Cross’ stomach turned. They were covered in a strange, greenish-black substance that glowed faintly, like algae festering on dead flesh. It clung to their forms in long tendrils, the sickly lichen-like growth looking as though it was the only thing keeping their decaying skin from falling off entirely.
After his disownment, Cross finds himself wandering the world alone, until a skirmish with some wolves leaves him falling for some creatures leaving in an abandoned city inside a Hollowed Mountain.
And they're just as loving as they are terrifying.

Nightmare's daily routine was, rather mundane but it was easy to follow and wouldn't distract him from his work.
And even if the days seem to meld together and become unbearable as time went on, the creeping loneliness bothering him. He'll manage, he always does.
That is until fate decided to thrust some skeletons into his life and make it a little chaotic.

With no memories and nowhere to go, you’ve been shuffled from universe to universe as the secret healer of the guardian of positivity for a decade. But years without a place to truly call home would leave anyone a little stir-crazy. So when you find a knife-wielding skeleton in the woods on your morning jog, you go against your better judgement and heal him. At least he’s nice enough to pay you back with outings that are starting to feel a whole lot like dates.
Too bad that skeleton is actually one of the enemies you’re supposed to be fighting against, and your existence is about to become not-so-secret to his boss.

Nightmare wasn't too upset at the announcement of his betrothal. He had excepted long ago he would be wed, would take another at his arm to rule. He hadn't expected it to come so soon.
He has no doubt the suitors his mother will have picked out will be lovely, but not to his taste. So he is much surprised when he finds each of them have an energy he is drawn to.
And as it turns out, perhaps the biggest problem isn't picking the best of the worst, but picking between four men that he loves.
Or, put simply, its my betrothal au!

Error succumbs to anxiously drown himself in chocolate - eating more and more every day than usual. He pays so much attention to the chocolate which eventually causes Nightmare to get stupidly jealous. Nightmare doesn't like sweets, but he likes to mess around with Error, so he takes all the chocolate away when Error is not present and hides it.

“I think I keep having audible hallucinations of Nightmare.” You complained to Dream, worried that somehow Nightmare would be able to hurt you, even in the OmegaTimeline. “They’re a bit hazy, but I’m pretty positive it’s him.”
“I’m sorry, I don't really know what to do.” Dream told you, watching as you walked into your bedroom to go to sleep. “Maybe we can talk about this in the morning. For now, just try to get some sleep.”
With your hand holding onto the doorknob, you nodded and said goodnight to Dream, closing the door after he walked away down the hall to his room.
You took a deep breath to calm yourself and turned around, looking at your peaceful, quiet bedroom.
“Sweetheart,” A low, smooth, familiar voice whispered in your ear, his breath hot against your neck. “You really think of me that much?”
You flinched, quickly smacking your hand against your neck where you felt the warm breath rumble. When you turned around, you were met with nothing but your door. You were alone in your room.

Killer downright hates their soul and attempts something very dangerous, thankfully Cross is able to stop them before there's any unwelcome and permanent side effects. Cue the hurt/comfort.
I twisted canon a little bit for this fic. So instead of Killer's emotions making their soul change, their soul mostly changes as it pleases and puts Killer in a certain state for a while.

Summary
Cross’ room, freshly cleaned, with the blinds drawn and a multitude of candles placed around the few available surfaces. They provided nothing but a fire hazard that Nightmare would’ve berated him for, but if he knew that, Cross didn’t care.
Killer wasn’t stupid, he knew it was the other trying to set up a mood, but the sentiment was lost on someone like him. Still, it was a little endearing, maybe, and Killer wasn’t going to be a dick and point it out.
