It was rather a boring day. Spent between teaching classes, grading papers, and brewing his potions. So when Draco decided to go make himself a cup of tea as a reward - and owl his mother while it brewed - he did not expect whatever was going to happen next.
He didn't even spend *five minutes* away from the dungeon (where he was brewing a new potion for his next class) when he heard that striking sound of *glass shattering.*
His first thought was: *"Merlin, the draught!"* then his immediate second thought was _"Fuck, Harry!!"_ He ran back down to the dungeon, expecting to see his partner standing there with a sheepish, apologetic smile and surrounded by broken vials _(curse him, his ever so curious husband)_
But when he skidded inside, he didn't find any of that. The only thing he found was a one (1) broken vial, and beside it a... baby?

Henry can’t help the tears that start falling or the sob tearing out of his chest. Alex doesn't love him anymore. He doesn’t know what to say. He knew this was coming, but it doesn’t make it hurt any less. It’s his biggest nightmare coming to life.
“But, Alex I –” his breath hitches. He can’t do this. He can’t.
“I’m sorry, Henry,” Alex touches his hand and it only makes Henry cry harder. “I really fucking tried to fix it, I never meant to hurt you, but I can’t make myself feel something I don’t,” Alex chokes out.

“You want to have sex with me right now?” With right now he means ‘right after seeing me in my ugly old pajamas,’ but Alex must interpret it as right now, ‘when we should be sleeping,’ because he says:
“I know it’s late, I have an early lecture.” He says, and that was not what Henry was implying. “But it’s fine, it’s just past midnight anyway.” He kisses Henry’s mouth. “Can we?” He repeats, and Henry nods eagerly.
Or: 4 times Henry doesn’t behave like a prince, and Alex loves it.
