    Dylan holds the radio out to him and instead of letting Dylan drop it into his hand, Ryan grabs for the thing and finds his fingers closing over top of Dylan’s. For a fraction of a second they freeze like that, Ryan holding onto Dylan’s hand which is holding onto the radio, their eyes meeting as accidentally as their hands, and Ryan feels something move through him like electricity. Dylan must feel it too, because he pulls his hand back like he’s been shocked and Ryan scrambles to catch the radio before it can tumble to the floor.

    Dylan and Ryan are crushing hard on each other, but they both have trouble communicating that fact. They only seem to be able to talk without awkwardness when they're discussing their shared love of music. When Ryan loses access to his contraband cell phone and his beloved podcasts, Dylan unwittingly gives him something far more interesting to listen to.

    It isn’t Dylan’s fault that they keep picking inopportune times to meet up. There are kids crawling around everywhere, for Pete’s sake. He has to strategize working around a dozen other schedules, and sometimes the best he can do is ten minutes in the lodge’s broom closet with none of the luxuries. Sue him.

    Miles "questionable morals" Morales needed to come up with a brilliant lie when his parents saw him with Peter. What did he come up with of course? That Peter is his uncle, specifically he's married to his Uncle Aaron. The look of shock on his parents face about finding out that Aaron was even married, much less to a man didn't help when Peter chose to go along with the lie. Now he and Aaron are caught up in a web of their own making as they continue to spin the web of a small lie that started all because Miles sucks at coming up with them.

    It's been five months since the cessation of a peaceful android revolution. Now recognized as people under US law, androids have access to the same legal rights humans do, including marriage, reproduction, and property ownership.

    But androids aren't utilizing any of their hard-earned rights. Years of systemic abuse at the hands of humans have discouraged them from integrating with human society in any meaningful way.

    President Warren makes a suggestion to Markus during one of their weekly video chats. Why not lead his people by example? If other androids see Markus enjoying the same rights as humans, won't they finally feel safe to emerge from the self-imposed fringe of society?

    In other words: Markus has to get married. Markus, who has never had a single romantic thought toward anyone in his entire, brief life.

    Now, which of his friends can he count on to bite the bullet with him?
