Jaskier sighed, “it’s Jaskier now, not Julian – but yes. Who’s asking?”
The man bent his head. “Agent Rivia, sir. I’m from the Secret Service. I’ll be coordinating your security detail.”
Essentially a West Wing AU for the Witcher that precisely nobody asked for!!! Jaskier is a precocious hardworking White House Press Secretary, Geralt is the Secret Service agent assigned to guard him against an increased threat. You are, as always, very welcome.

“I’m an emotional manipulator!”
There was a pause. Geralt stared at Jaskier, until Jaskier blushed. “Well, I mean— I mean I have a power…this ability. I am able, to, um, sense emotions.”
Another pause. “You can sense emotions,” Geralt repeated, nonplussed.
“Yes! I can sort of, feel them. In the air, you know,” Jaskier flapped his arms around. “And then, occasionally, with great effort, I can…influence them.”
